In naher Zukunft arbeiten wir immer da, wo wir uns gerade befinden. Das kann zu Hause, im Hotel, unterwegs auf dem Flughafen, im Zug oder im Café um die Ecke sein. Neben den technischen Voraussetzungen benötigt die neue Mobilität Mitarbeiter, die bereit sind, sich nomadenhaft auf eine derartige offene Arbeitswelt einzulassen.

Natürlich wird es weiter die Standorte mit den Gebäuden geben. Mitarbeiter erledigen ihre Aufgaben aber nicht mehr an dem einen Schreibtisch, sondern mobil dort, wo sie gerade sind. Dies führt zu neuen Aufgaben in der Verwaltung. Der Schreibtisch ist nur noch für eine bestimmte Zeit den Mitarbeitern zugeordnet, da ein fester Arbeitsplatz meistens leer stehen würde. Gleichzeitig sind an den Standorten immer mehr temporäre individuelle Arbeitsplätze sowie Räume für Sitzungen erforderlich. Betroffen sind zum Beispiel die IT, die Raumplanung und die Richtlinien des Unternehmens. Sie müssen die IT-Systeme, den Arbeitsschutz und die Sicherheit sowie die Vereinbarungen mit dem Betriebsrat an die neuen, mobilen Arbeitssituationen vorbereiten.

Unternehmen sparen durch das Büro Hoteling bereits 30% der Raumkosten. In einer virtuellen Rezeption werden die notwendigen Buchungen der Arbeitsflächen von unterwegs vorgenommen. Aufgrund der Reservierung stehen die Geräte vor Ort den Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung – Computer, Drucker, Verbrauchsmaterial. Zusätzlich haben die Mitarbeiter mobile Endgeräte bei sich, mit denen sie sich überall sicher an das Daten- und Stromnetz anschließen können. Technische Probleme werden über eine 24-stündige Hotline behoben. Flexible Dienstleister tauschen überall auf der Welt ein kaputtes Gerät innerhalb kürzester Zeit aus.

Fazit: Einerseits kommt immer mehr klein- und großräumige Mobilität auf die Belegschaft zu. Andererseits müssen die Unternehmen proaktiv Geld investieren, um die notwendigen Grundlagen zu schaffen.

In near future, we always work where we are. That can be at home, in the hotel, being on the way at the airport, in the train or in the coffee shop around the corner. Besides the technical pre-requisites, the new mobility requires employees, who are ready to admit themselves nomadically for such an open working environment.

Of course, there will be still the locations with the facilities. The employees, however, accomplish their tasks no longer at the one desk, but mobile, where ever they are. This results in new tasks within the administration. The desks are assigned to an employee for a specific duration, since fixed workspaces would usually remain empty. At the same time, more and more temporary, individual workspaces as well as meeting spaces are locally needed. This affects for example the IT, the facility planning and the corporate guidelines. They have to prepare the IT-systems, the industrial safety and the security as well as the company agreements with the workers’ council for the new, mobile work situation.

The enterprises save already 30% of the office space costs through office hoteling. You reserve the workspaces in a virtual reception along the way. Based on the reservation, the devices are provided to the employees locally – computers, printers, and consumables. Additionally the users have mobile devices that can be securely connected everywhere to the data and electricity net. The technical problems are solved via a 24-hour hotline. Flexible service providers replace very quickly the device everywhere in the world.

Bottom line: On the one hand, the staff will have to face more and more small- and large-scale mobility. On the other hand, the companies have to spend money, in order to create pro-actively the necessary basis.
