Home, instead of house

Why should business travelers burden themselves with a house or an apartment, if they are rarely there? Why should capital be invested in homes or goods that are rarely used?

 BizNomad

For modern business nomads the renunciation of  residential property appears to be a likely scenario. The own house or the condo is vacant for the majority of the year, gathers dust, consumes unnecessarily energy and creates continuously costs, not mentioning the bound capital. Even family planning will adapt to the new conditions. In the future not only families of diplomats will travel  around the world, but also more and more relatives of business people.

The regular relocations need flexible forms of living – boarding houses and apartment hotels, business and shared accommodations. This requires new sales models for apartments, regulations and contract forms that allow flexible usage. This affects different aspects of the life besides the housing market – new laws for registry offices, kindergartens and schools, etc.
